- Flat vs. dimensional — flat signs use printed or applied graphics on a surface, while dimensional signs use raised letters, logos, or layered materials to create depth and a more substantial appearance.
- Installation planning — mounting surface, hardware, access, sign weight, height, visibility, and site conditions should be reviewed before production so the sign can be installed cleanly.
